Delish Bread Pudding Recipe
This Bread Pudding recipe is from my friend, Menden. Its absolutely amazing and very easy to make. Its perfect for a cold winter evening. Serve it with Vanilla Ice cream.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf French Bread
- 1qt milk
- 3 eggs
- 2c sugar
- 2Tbsp vanilla
- 1c raisins, soaked in whisky
- 3Tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Soak bread in milk. Crush with hands until mixed. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla & raisins.
- Pour melted butter in bottom of 9x13 pan & then pour in batter. Bake for 50 minutes-1 hour until very firm. Let cool.
Whisky Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 3/4c sugar
- 4Tbsp milk
- 2 jiggers whisky
Instructions
- Melt & blend together butter & sugar. Add milk & whisky.
- Heat & pour oven bread pudding before serving.
