Looking for an Alternative to Ballet Flats?
I love ballet flats and can't seem to have enough of them but I have to admit that I get bored of wearing them day after day.
Yet they are the shoe of choice for a mom of two kids who is running around in various directions. Trust me, I have tried doing the running around in heels but it just doesn't work!
Since summer is not quite here, wearing flip flops is not an option so I was excited to see the return of the loafer, which is a chic new alternative to the ballet flat.
This trend was first seen on the runways in Fall 2011 but I find that there are lots of options for spring as well.
Buy one in a nice bold color and it can make any boring outfit look quite chic. They can be paired with jeans, pants, casual dresses and skirts.

I picked up these Christian Dior one's that I absolutely love in a tangerine color. I found quite a few that I loved, some of which I have shown below.
