Invest in a Chambray Shirt this summer. This extremely versatile piece comes in many different styles (fitted, sleeveless, oversized, faded etc) and price points.

As seen in the pictures below, it can be paired with pretty much anything from jeans to dresses to skirts to shorts no matter what your height or size.I am writing this post for a dear friend who just bought a Chambray shirt but wasn't sure how to wear it so I hope she will get enough ideas after reading this post :-)

How to Wear One Chambray Shirt Four Different Ways

Top left: Pair it with a dressy pencil skirt in order to take it from casual to business.Top right: Wear the denim shirt open over the maxi dress (and roll the sleeves up!)and belt it with a brown belt. Add an earth-toned necklace and some fun sandals for a pop of color. A great outfit for lunch or dinner.Bottom left: For a casual day of running errands, pair it with shorts and a striped tank and some cute wedges.Bottom right: a good “brunching” look. Casual but still looks like you put some effort in. Similar to the previous look, wear the shirt over the dress with the sleeves rolled or pushed up.
