Design Refresh: Cheerful Toddler Girl's Bedroom
Little Cianna has a soft yet fierce personality. She is a girly girl who loves to accessorize. She is almost three years old and has recently transitioned from a crib to a twin bed. Her room walls are a beautiful pale blue and she has adorable pink and white gingham curtains so we started the transition with those two existing room features and came up with a room worthy of a little princess.
Color Scheme
To inject a boost of color, we picked yellow as a complimentary color to the existing pastel color scheme of blue, pink and sage green
Furniture
Cianna inherited this adorable Jenny Lind bed from Land of Nod from her older sister. We painted an existing bedside table yellow to inject some life and color and changed the dresser knobs for an instant update.
Bedding
Serena & Lily's Marni Duvet and sham were a perfect fit for the room. To tie in the existing color scheme, we bought the Garden Party sheet set and quilt from Pottery Barn Kids. The accent pillow with her initials was just too cute to pass!
Embellishments
My favorite part is always the embellishments! To give the room an extra dose of color and personality, we bought some cheerful artwork, a comfy beanbag, a fun table lamp and the Gold Bars rug from Land of Nod. We also found cute hooks and initials to spell out her room. Our little client was happy as a bee when she saw her newly remodeled bedroom, which just made our day too!
