Delish Bread Pudding Recipe

This Bread Pudding recipe is from my friend, Menden. Its absolutely amazing and very easy to make. Its perfect for a cold winter evening. Serve it with Vanilla Ice cream.
Bread Pudding 
  • 1 loaf French Bread
  • 1qt milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2c sugar
  • 2Tbsp vanilla
  • 1c raisins, soaked in whisky
  • 3Tbsp melted butter
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Soak bread in milk. Crush with hands until mixed. Add eggs, sugar, vanilla & raisins.
  • Pour melted butter in bottom of 9x13 pan & then pour in batter. Bake for 50 minutes-1 hour until very firm. Let cool.
Whisky Sauce
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3/4c sugar
  • 4Tbsp milk
  • 2 jiggers whisky
  • Melt & blend together butter & sugar. Add milk & whisky.
  • Heat & pour oven bread pudding before serving.
