You can wear Leopard!

Out of all the animal prints, leopard print is probably my favorite. I love it mainly because

  • If you tend to wear neutrals, it really jazzes things up.
  • It rarely ever goes out of fashion especially if you buy something classic like a blazer or a pump in leopard print.
  • It tends to brings out the inner diva in you!

Whether you are in your 20's, 30's, 40's or older, you can totally wear this print. However, the key is to wear it age appropriately.
20's - Pick any shape or color, sky's the limit. You can really have fun and wear leopard print in bright colors and bold patterns.
30's - Stick to neutral colors but  feel free to add some contrast, stick to classic shapes and interesting fabrics like cashmere, corduroy, etc.
40's and older - Best to stick to small patterns and neutral colors when wearing it in clothes. And wearing it in small doses like a belt, cuff, or ballet flats.

Holiday Style: Lady in Red

This is a great look for a cocktail party! Let the drama be all about the bright red dress. Keep hair and makeup neutral. Wear minimal or no jewelry but definitely a sexy pair of shoes and a nice, classy clutch.

This month, luxury retailer Bergdorf Goodman is celebrating it 111th birthday with uncharacteristic exuberance. This is the first time Bergdorf Goodman has marked its birthday since 1951 and it will be a season of celebration including an exclusive anniversary collection by more than 100 designers, a documentary film and a book.
Their exclusive anniversary collection items include ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes and handbags. Some of my favorites include a one-of-a-kind Alexander McQueen ruched velvet dress, Christian Louboutin pyramid-studded platforms, evening looks from Haute Hippie and Stella McCartney.

Christian Louboutin’s 20 Year Anniversary!

If you are a shoe-lover then take note that this year marks the 20th anniversary in fashion for Christian Louboutin.

In celebration of this special year, the designer has created 20 stunning shoes (one for each year) and several bags for a capsule collection. Each of the shoes represents a part of Louboutin history.

The collection, inspired by his most famous and best-loved styles, features a mixtures of flats, and his signature heels, from thigh high boots and studded platforms to dainty stilettos adorned with pretty bows.

One of the signature shoes in the capsule collection is the Pensee, the shoe that started all the red soled hysteria.  The Pensee was created in 1993, when Louboutin was dissatisfied with the contrast between the vibrant upper and the plain black sole.  In a moment of inspiration, the designer grabbed an assistant’s pot of red nail varnish (allegedly color Pantone 18, Chinese Red) and began painting.   Since then, he keeps everyone looking back for those glimpses of blood rushing red as a strong sexy woman walks past.

Below are the shoes in the capsule collection, most of which can be bought at Neiman Marcus, Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman and
