DIY: Halloween Crafts for Kids

DIY

Pumpkins, spiders, bats, skeletons, witches...... Halloween is around the corner.

My three year old brings a new craft home from school everyday. It's fun to see him get into the spirit of the season. My daughter also loves making Halloween decorations so we've been busy at home! Here are a few crafts that I've enjoyed doing with my kids this year and were fairly easy, key word being EASY!

1. Pony Bead Pumpkins - These beaded pumpkins using pipe cleaners by Cutesy Crafts were super easy to make. We improvised a bit based on the beads we had at home but the end result was very satisfying.

2. Embellished Pumpkins - My daughter loves the idea of glittery, sparkly pumpkins so we enjoyed making them. We followed the tips by  Martha Stewart and Glitter Guide

3. Toilet Roll Bats - These were easy and fun to make with my son and I loved the fact that I got his hand prints in the process!

4. Halloween Rosettes - This kit from Paper Source is awesome. We enjoyed hanging these all over our house for a festive spirit.
